Ingredients
- Pesara Pappu / Moong Dal – 1 cup
- Wheat flour – 2 cups
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsps
- Oil for Frying
- Salt to taste
Preparation Method
- Soak the moong for about 2 hours.
- In the meantime, knead the wheat into dough with red chilli powder, salt and water.
- Now add the soaked moong dal to the wheat flour dough and knead again for some time.
- Make round shaped balls with the dough.
- Spread the balls into roti’s and keep ready.
- Heat the tawa and place the roti made.
- Pour oil generously around the roti. It will puff up like poori.
- Reverse and cook till brown spots appear.
- Serve hot with/without chutney.
