Ingredients
- Onion – 2 cups, finely sliced
- Palak /Spinach – 2 cups, finely chopped
- Senaga Pindi/ Besan – 2 cups
- Rice flour – 2 tsbps
- Green chillies – 4, finely chopped
- Corinader leaves – ½ cup, finely chopped
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsps
- Dhaniya powder – 2 tsps (Or Dhaniya Crushed), optional
- Vansapathi/Ghee – ½ cup
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Preparation Method
- Mix onion, salt and ghee or vanspathi. Keep for some time.
- Add the besan little by little without adding any water. The water from the onion mixture is enough for this.
- Add the chopped palak, green chillies, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder and coriander leaves.
- If want little water can be sprinkled.
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan.
- Take handful of pakodi mixture and sprinkle little by little in hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown and remove, drain the excess oil in the absorbent paper.
- Cool and store it in an air tight container.
- This is healthy snacks which will stay good for 3 days.
