Oats Soup




Ingredients

  • Oats – ½ cup
  • Milk – 1 cup, preferably skimmed milk
  • Garlic – 3 cloves, optional
  • Pepper powder – ½ tsp
  • Butter – 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Method

Finely chop the garlic cloves.

Take the butter in a pan, fry the garlic pieces for a minute and then add the oats.

Fry for about two minutes, then add 2 cups of boiling water.

Let it cook for 5 minutes.

Add the boiled milk once the oats got cooked.

Add salt and pepper powder & Serve.

Variations

You can add finely chopped mixed vegetables like carrot, beans, cabbage etc. to make it healthier.
