Ingredients
- White/Brown bread - 6 slices, cut into 2 in a diagonal way
- Eggs – 3
- Tomatoes – 2, finely chopped
- Onion – 2, finely chopped
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Green chilli – 1, chopped finely
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Oil – to fry
To GarnishCoriander leaves - a handful chopped
Preparation Method
Whisk the eggs with all the powders, tomatoes & onions.
Heat a shallow frying pan with oil. Soak a bread slice in batter and shallow fry on moderate heat till golden brown.
To coat the batter properly, pour some more over the bread after keeping on the frying pan.
Flip to the other side & cook for some time.
Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on absorbent paper/ Kitchen towel.
Garnish with Coriander leaves.
Serve with ketchup or chutney.
