Ingredients
- Spring Onion – 1 bunch
- Pudina leaves – a handful, chopped
- Coriander leaves – a handful, chopped
- Onion – 1, chopped
- Pesalu – 1 cup
- Pallillu/ Peanuts – ½ cup, boiled
- Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Preparation Method
Wash and chop the spring onions.
Cook the moong dal in pressure cooker for one whistle.
Heat ghee in a pan, fry the spring onion and chopped pudina leaves.
Now in a bowl mix boiled peanuts, pudina leaves, spring onions, onion, coriander leaves and salt.
Mix well with pepper powder and lemon juice before serving.
Green onion salad is ready to eat.
Variation
Alternatively sprouted moong dal can be used.
